I’m Shania McLennan, a former Division I athlete, podcast host, and someone deeply passionate about helping athletes find their way in the world beyond sports. Growing up in Kirkwood, Missouri, basketball was my first love. From varsity games in high school to earning a scholarship to play at the University of Arkansas, my identity was built on being an athlete.

But when the final buzzer sounded on my collegiate career, I found myself at a crossroads. The transition from a life centered around sports to building a professional career was far from easy. I faced moments of uncertainty, but I also found success in ways I hadn’t imagined. That’s when I realized: there’s life after the game, and it’s just as important as what happens on the court.

That’s why I started the More Than 94 podcast—because I know there are countless athletes who need guidance, inspiration, and the reassurance that success comes in many forms. On the podcast, I interview former collegiate athletes who share their unique journeys, challenges, and triumphs. Together, we help others redefine what it means to "win" in life.

Inspired by my own experiences, I wrote my book to offer practical strategies and support to athletes navigating their next chapter.
